“An outreached arm. A Listening Ear and An Open-Heart”
Introduction
We as a society, are confronted with devasting, horrific, distressful, unpredictable times. People are depressed and anxiety-ridden full of worries and fear which often leads to self-destruction and catastrophic events. There has been an alarming rise in gun violence. We have established the Straightback “We Care Listening Center” where people can express their feelings, burdens, concerns, and fears to open-arm, compassionate-hearted listening volunteers.
We will refer participants to providers where they can receive help. Also, we hope to have providers present at the center. A volunteer will be available during the days and times posted.

With the problem of brutality and the horrors of gun violence, you need to train residents and give them the required processes of how to come to peaceful endings and resolutions to conflicts.
